we got there just a bit too late to get a spot in the shade. defo going on the monday this year

I had the best spot. Exactly the same one I'd had the year before. It was reasonably near the exit out to the car park, under a load of trees on flat ground near the beach, next to a bunch of mates. One of them had a van too and a load of garden furniture and a plastic sheet they used as an awning.

i dream of getting a spot by the beach this year. we were right by the basketball courts where that bar played brostep all day. not really the one when you've had a big night

hahaa that's where i was man. on one of the nights a dj was playing acid house just as we were pre drinking it was pretty sick

aaaah we were riiiight next to it, drove me nuts in the daytime, did you see that there was always one guy that was already really pilled up by like 1130pm vibing out on his own every night at that place haha

The only bad thing with where I was was that this year there was a new bar that hadn't been there the year before. The guys who ran it listened to what sounded like the sort of compilation cds you'd get at a motorway service station all day before anyone came on to dj

yeah i have some vague memories of that fucked up geezer but to be honest i was so knackered the whole time everything seemed like a dream
anyone got any tips for catching those extra Z's? the sun always woke us up at like 10am and when youre not going bed til about 7 each night you can imagine how it took its toll

Where I was I slept til about mid day easily. I'd have a swim and then get mildly drunk on the beach which would put me in the mood for an hour's nap before dinner if needed.

I'm going to Dimensions for the first time. Really enjoying the first line-up release, although i have seen most of the artist, there are still some goodies over there.
I have one question for the veterans. Do they usually announce the line-up for the boat parties and after some time, they start selling the tickets or when they announce the line-ups, the tickets are immediately on sale ?

F*ck that! 38 pounds + BF for the opening concert at the Amphitheatre for Dimensions ... Way too expensive for one night.

didn't realize outlook flooded last year, did dimenshuns instead, weather was lovely, seem to remember it raining maybe one day though? Or could be getting mixed up with outlook the year before.

protip; get an apartment, and not through outlook. It's about the same price as camping if you go direct

nahhhh man the campsite is where it's at, you miss out on so much vibe by not camping

word to that ^ campsite's sick despite all the pain, my mate's were in a villa and i don't think they got nearly the same experience.

Also trying to look into travel. venice then coach was a real pain in the arse last year but all the direct to pula flights seem to be booked up at this point, do any more get announced or should i just start thinking about indirect flights?

Naa outlook the year before was when we stayed with you guys and it pissed it down on the friday and saturday!!

Im going again this year, got everything booked already unlike previous years where it's been a scramble to get the whole lot booked 2 weeks before

Staying at a place called Villa Bubi this time, 3 minutes walk from the festival entrance with a pool for 30 euros a night

Flights seem so god damn expensive

i did last year, Seville to Barcelona, Barcelona to Venice, Venice to trieste and then directly from trieste to pula in bus it was a big mess but it was really cheap actually, 250 euros including the comeback

definatley thinking about coming this year. the line up looks intense. god its in a beautiful place too. always wanted to go to Croatia.
