Actually I'm about 90% sure Europe is to blame for the "EDM" sensibilities. Benny Benassi, all those Hard dance mania CDs with soapy tits on the cover, the whole electro house sound with the French ass disco synth chopping (if u know what I mean) like Justice etc does.

iirc most of the original electro house mans are Italian or Dutch or some shit.

Original house/garage with that groovy deepnesslike from Chicago/NY could never come from Europe IMO...we're too camp
