I just hate it when people make a bad attempt at criticizing something -
especially when it's obvious they don't understand it.
look you clumsy mental oaf - you're treading on one of my favorites...
Just because you've never smelled a hot cuttlefish bone
- does not mean that the artwork is bad...

I wish I could find the strength - the state - the status - to stop defending myself.
...its like putting your favorite horse down...
I am not happy to be handed the gun that coldly.
It's gonna make me smoke again.

Ok - I just found this...
and this is another person...who completely does not understand the original....
or maybe they do??!! - and has made an absolutely disgusting ...
- and I mean completely depraved - version of the original...
I wonder if Duchamp would literally be on the floor laughing at the "Perverted Monstrosity"...
I mean - this person took it to the children....!!!$##&^@$$@*

still pondering
particularly on the question
as to whether there's any real qualitative difference
between iconic artistic ideas and ephemeral pop art
in regard to the intensity with which we experience life

But yeah I agree FACT maybe isn't the best platform to support his points

After yesterday's little ramble I think he's right at home with fact

there is a lot of difference imo you just have to compare the legacy that duchamp left to the art in comparison to andy warsehole

I absolutely hate it when people misuse the word "democratic". Everyone being able to do a particular thing does not make it democratic.

...continue please - what would be democratic?

Democratic would be everyone having a vote as to what the thing was/will be.
To quote one part of the article: "Sometimes, admittedly, this is accompanied by a bit of artful chopping and screwing, but such techniques are also democratic in the sense that they are available to anyone with Ableton and a computer."
No, this does not make such techniques democratic. What would make such techniques democratic is if a bunch of people got together to use these techniques and voted how to artfully chop and screw sounds to create music.

I hate to admit it because I hate Don Henley and the fucking Eagles so much (it causes me to become physically enraged when I hear "Hotel California") but - whoever he paid to program the drum machine on "Boys of Summer" was a fucking genius.

Don't forget Dirty Laundry - That's not 1, not 2, but 3 tunes you have to like...
I agree - someone was on the buttons there for a minute....
