'Murky' by Moving Ninja had a tough beat on it. I'm still tryin to find my way round at the moment though really. the Vex'd LP is top shelf. Just got delivered to me. Can't wait to get home and make some noise

Got to be Darqwan for me - I still remember first hearing that snare on Taiwan Ink always certain to get me moving even tho it's pretty old now. It's just a really fucking tight and clipped snare a lot like Zinc's.

yeah i love the drums in Root, reminds me of a lot of jungle tunes..subframe wrote:Root and Goat Stare both give me chills from the drums alone.

The drumwork in "New Life Baby Paris" straight up gives me chills. It has such an odd rhythm, but it's incredible.

All about that El-B snare ( you know the one ), even now it still amazes me, think it comes from some RnB track, but I could be wrong.Zefa wrote:EL-B, just for pure slick drum programming, no one does beats like El-B.

the knowledge and rmx of it are HECTIC beats truly... i'd like to see madlib do some odd laidback dubstep drums still... manuva could do some queer things as well if he was so inclined i reckon...
