I was sampling a Jethro Tull song and accidentally sliced to just the tails of a flute and guitar note and it sounded fucking amazing! It's probably because of the psychoacoustic effect of having the attack of both elements removed so they blend together. I pitched it down and looped it.

Most of the time my pads are made just using detuned waves and phaser and chorus for some cheesy yamaha dx7 vibes.

Does anyone know how to make the pads in this? I really suck at pads and if you asked me how I make mine I'd say I don't know. It's an element I think would boost my tracks massively, hopefully if I learn them they can be the undercurrent to draw together all other elements.
