I have an uncomfortable feeling Clams will age poorly, and sound like ball-less 90's smooth trip hop sounds today. But I'm always pointlessly worried about music enjoyment shit like that. And you kind of are too hubb from my experience lol

I think what wolf is saying is spot on. Except realizing what effect the 'thinner' drums brings. It just wouldn't be as epic sounding if it's wasn't as wishiwashy... and the drums underline that. But yeah the beats can sound directionless without someone rapping and holding it together..

I don't know dude. I don't know if you understand what was motivating this beat movement. Like maybe you found a certain personal value in parts of it, but weren't really tapping into the core motivation of the creators. Which is totally okay. The drums sound aokay to me. But the song sounds like a bit of a retread. Like there isn't a lot of innovation there, personally or within the larger context. Just ho-hum, time to get paid kind of drek.
