one thing to remember is that at least round these parts if u look at the packaging you'll see that store brand stuff has been manufactured by the same people who make the original

Budget/shop brand products vary in quality.
Like, shop brand cola is universally terrible, that shit could never pass for pepsi or coke, but like shop brand microwave lasagna or ham or cooking chocolate is literally exactly the same everywhere ive been

thats cos theyre often made in the same factories, whereas massive brands like Coke etc have their own factories/recipes/methods etc
