ah Yes I can see why you might think that
and some people had difficulties with suckup because he'd get on his high horse.
but overall he was firm and tried to be fair as a mod but could get combative at times.
Pimp was always arrogant & often agro
and hard to debate, partly because he didn't have an understanding of nuances in English,
partly because he didn't have much of a sense of humour
and imo his upbringing and culture made him defensive and desperate to succeed.
Fascinating.
The few pms we shared were very insightful.

Honestly we should form some kind of alliance. Did Kidshuffle leave though?

Kidshuffle hasn't left and Ray has adopted his true calling as Dickman.

This subforum has had a clique-y vibe ever since I joined. Gives me more reason to make awkward posts that make people uncomfortable to look at.

edit- misread nousd's post haha, it is quite sad to see how many of the older heads on here going (older in the sense of how long they've been on here) as when I was just lurking they were often incredibly funny and interesting posters, but I guess things just change over time, when I lurked on here the production forum was sick but thats gone a bit downhill too

but I'm certainly not part of any clique

I find that occasionally I'll feel some mutual affinity with somebody,
just as likely a neophyte as a grizzled battle-scarred ninja,
maybe over some post or being around at the same time.
Might last for awhile and then it fades away again,
probably because it's a little embarrassing
& impedes our freedom to diss or call bullshit on each other.

It's pretty hard to be in a clique when I don't get to actually meet people
apart from the few Sydneysiders on here

and I'm glad the guys in London, say, can get together & become real mates
so they can chat shit about their nights out...vicarious enjoyment for me...
but I don't think that makes em cliquey.

true, i still check this place out pretty regularly, but there seems to have been a downturn in hilarious threads of late besides the 130 dramas thread, which was hilarious from start to finish
