wow very timely thread.
I have been using a capsule machine for a while and it's time to step up the game.

I have been looking into bean to cup vs manual pump machines. for B2C have been considering delonghi esam2800 gets pretty much the best reviews for b2c under £500.

v tempted to get more technical though and cop this

Rancilio Silvia. though it sounds like will take weeks of practice/ learning to make decent coffee, learning shit like temperature surfing. trying to weigh up the convenience of B2C vs. basically learning a new 'hobby'

Kruptah that setup looks sick. is that a HX or a double boiler machine or something?

hear that Gaggia Classic is pretty industry standard/ good. anyone else have any other machines/ experience?

Not my setup, so I'm not 100% sure, but it does look like a double boiler.

Small ass town back near my mum's house (where I am until the Bristol move, still after a room) turns out to have somehow ended up with a real good coffee shop. Seriously some of the best coffee I've had in ages there. Specialty coffee roasted on the premises. Gonna have to stock up on the coffee they sell before moving away I think.

Black coffee is the way. Why ruin a good coffee with a bunch of other things?
