Maybe person A can press 'play' on the sequencer and person B can fire off goodfellas and gun lock samples on the fly until person A presses stop?

when i saw the chemical brothers, i knew it was pretty much just listening to a live mix of their cd.. but the energy was incredible... and id imagine that it wouldnt have been as high with only one of them..

they only stood there.. behind a huge rack and eff'ed with the eq's. i didnt care at all.. i had a great time. i will recall that event more than i can others...

I'm listening to the live set you uploaded on the mixes section again now, actually. How did you do it? Love the warm sound you get from it as well.

Oddly enough i also found a free CD which has a live version of block rockin' beats on it. Does sound a bit different to the original.

Live electronic music is amazing when done right, i like what Milanese, Boxcutter and Bass Clef do, but sadly haven't seen them live yet. My respect for daft punk has never been high, but boomnoise's comments have made it sink even further. They sound like total pricks to be honest.

How often do you play live then? Without it turning into a rock music type thing, would be good to have the occasional night or one off with everyone playing live, you could have Jazzsteppa, boxcutter, bass clef and get misk over from the states

I don't dj but i would love to be able to do this kind of music live, i used to play in a distinctly shite rock band, but i still loved it when we (rarely) got gigs, its such a good feeling.

i actually am not as happy with my live sets as much as others who hear them are. i think i could do a lot better, and i've been kinda focusing on that... putting stuff together, making them better - getting sidetracked with hiphop beats (where theres actually money to be made) ... etc... etc..

if you want to ever fly me out to the UK, feel free though! I've done some live electro house locally, but as far as actually playing OUT dubstep live, never done it. I'd love to though... i just havent made the opportunity yet... not only is there no dubstep scene in san diego, but i know nothing of promoting, and i have no money to do it... or a sound system..

I saw daft punk live years ago before all the robot hats nonsense, actually around da funk first came out 95ish I think, and they had quite a bit of kit on the table. though I wasn't that much of a trainspotter to go and see what they actually were using / doing with it. I was more interested on what was coming out of the speakers.
