i'd just like to point out the hypocrisy in people begging for Scans! Scans! on this thread. scanning in an article is as much stealing as dowloading an mp3. just so you know.

before you go crying for scans, think of the publishers, writers, artists etc. who worked hard to put out that magazine. just like your BIG DUBS BLUD, you need to shell out the cash for this magazine if you want to enjoy it's fruits.

i'm assuming the Admins of dubstepforum are going to immediately ban people either asking for or providing scans of magazines.

"big up" to Brother Loves Dub for having the integrity to call some of the cats up in here on their hypocritical ways. A lot of the people who went after me when I started the thread (a few weeks back) about the future of music sales and marketing in the 21st century have officially painted themselves into a corner.

It's kinda funny watching a number of self-righteous individuals who frown on any and all free music downloading turn around and endorse stealing samples (and magazine articles for that matter). A lot of black and white thinking going on when the issues under discussion in fact exist in many shades of grey...

Wow, i hope we see some of the tracks from his "too dark" album sometime.
It's the December issue and it's not available yet unless you are a subscriber --- prolly should've said. Soz.

Ok cool. Yeah as for the scans, pretty hypocritical, but I tend not to call people out on things like that unless it involves thieving music off people within the scene, or excessively lazy sampling, even so, everyone is a hypocrite

Fact is i was desperate to read the interview and under the impression that it was sold out / not available in the poxy selection of newsagents on whitechapel road. But i can wait and will buy it when it comes in. Or just pull a shonky and thieve it for real, i can't decide.

I just went out and bought it from Rough Trade.

It's well worth money. But then The Wire always is...
