Really? Good news indeed, I thought Sam had said he was stopping after number 4 - Tin Foil Sky, Hamas and one other (haven't got the CD to hand). Maybe 005 will have Chainsaw Massacre on it? I keep banging on to him about how big that tune is.

Basically it's Sam Shackleton's label, and I don't think he sees dubstep as the be-all and end-all. Obviously he's in it enough to set up a label and release tunage, but I think he's gonna be working on some other projects outside of dubstep in the future.
I'd guess that Appleblim might have big plans for a label of his own though - he's moving to Bristol with Wedge this Summer so I'm sure they'll have some HENCH-based badness in the pipeline.

Track called Hamas?
Shackleton seems like a bit of a mystery figure! What other music does he make, isnt he into dub etc.

yeh fair play, you can hear it in his sound, like he's itching to move further and further away
well as long as he's still producing i'll still be listening, dubstep or not, so keep us informed!

He is currently working on new material. Not dubstep. Expect the unexpected. Not that i've heard any of it.

It's something like this. The last Skull Disco release is going to be either a double 12" with two tracks from me, Tin Foil Sky and Hamas Rule, and two tracks from Appleblim, or two 12"s coming out at the same time with those tracks I mentioned.
Erm, no, it's not that I'm not feeling any dubstep, it's more that I want to try different stuff. You're right ThinKing that I don't think dubstep is the be all and end all, but don't take that disrespectfully, I just like a lot of different stuff. I mean, Kode 9 and Mystiks will always be amazing regardless of genre. Good music is good music.
Anyway, Skull Disco is really precious to me and I'm really proud of the releases. I don't want to tarnish it by flogging it to death.
I'm just playing around with stuff at the moment for another alter-ego but I've had so much on recently having moved house and stuff that I think I just lost my way a bit anyway and got negative about the tunes etc. It's true though that I'd like to do more vocal stuff as well and will probably be dropping the bpm, so, I suppose that it's only fair to take a new name and label. I wouldn't want to dupe people into thinking it's dubstep when it's not. Appleblim will no doubt get something together too. He's bang into the scene and will just keep getting better. I've no doubt he'll still be putting stuff out.
I'm really pleased though that so many people like the Skull Disco stuff and am really grateful for all the support it gets.
As for Chainsaw Massacre...yes, it'd be a shame if that never saw the light of day. ThinKing, it's yours if you want it! Or anyone else who wants to give it a good home.
