wicked spaced out techno with lots of bass and reverb
Second that. And it really is cold in there, but in a fuzzy, analogue way that also makes it somehow warm. :o

Yeah Deepchord is some of the best music made in the last year. Essential stuff.

Try Fennesz too - he is really the pioneer of that waves of fizz and fuzz sound... his album with Ryuichi Sakamoto this year, 'Cendre', is one of the best and most beautiful ambient records I own.

(definitely check their first release - Miserere / Arigato)

+ early jungle - ltj bukem, source direct, etc.

as mentioned already check Pinch, Boxcutter and Vaccine + some more recommendations of dubstep artists by myself would be:

- Moving Ninja (the sound is techy and different from Burial but to me no one is more similar to Burial in terms of deepness of the sound)

- Toasty, Shonky/Dysfunktion, Martyn and TRG (for the lovely use of vocals and lively drums)

- Forsaken, Atki2, Peverelist, Ikonika and Eleven Tigers (check recent live mix here - http://dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=34530) for the fresh and deep sound

+ some more non-dubstep artists that weren't mentioned yet:

Portishead (new album soon, check this for some recent live audio with new tracks - http://dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=35252)

Fanu - http://www.fanusamurai.com (check his double LP called 'Daylightless')[/b]

Unkle, Radiohead, DJ Krush,.....
3 things I miss most from the UK... swede, cider and the music scene!
