There's another one due in four weeks so I suppose it's good practice at having no sleep!

Judging by the fact that Georgina's camera was flashing all night like a strobe machine then, when she recovers, I imagine they will appear on her Flickr site linked of her main site:

Soz I missed your text when you was having that grief deaps, was truely merked by 1am.
Your right Deaps, pricks, I saw a guy get his green took off him by the security (the most annoying thing is the security was like "you should be grateful I'm not throwing you out" and then took his green to no doubt smoke when he got home.) Security are always wankers.
But the night was BIG BIG BIG!!!
Big up Mala who was skanking so hard to Skream that his fone kept flying out his pocket and across the dancefloor!

Ah - Deapoh, I wonder if you were who I think you were, I didn't even think to ask. Next time :) And yeah the bouncers were a little moody - how can u not smile with that sub bass rolling through you?!

I ended up going on my own, the fact the boys blew it out couldn't stop me. It meant I spoke to quite a few people and . . .

<snip deleted post night out frazzled ramble! /snip?

short version of the above: Fucking brilliant - thanks!

Nice meeting quite a few people, can't remember names anymore so tell me if I met you!

Plasticmans set was so live again, stayed till the very end. Him dropping Japan was next level. On that sound system it sounded so nice. I loved the Digital Mystkz set aswell "Why haven't you learned anything"!!! Tune!

[quote]

Totally agree, the security were fucking cocks with their torches and stupid green jackets.
Didn't ruin the night for me tho. Was i completely pissed or did someone pull up a tune when Skream was playing with their teeth?! "That's a pull-up!"

Heavy night once again. Mala and Loefah were so deep.

BURY DA BWOY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pokes on top form too..."original jazz hands riddim'

What's the deal with the security though...don't want to dwell on this, as the night was overwhelmingly a positive experience - and it didn't really affect me but they were going round aggy whereas all the ravers had positive vibes. Was never like that in 3rd bass.

Had a wicked night, the bass was sooooo heavy. that room was much better than the one we got moved to last time. felt much more personal than having the dj's 20 feet above the dance floor. but i agree with everyone about the security - they were well moody. one of them tried to take a rolly off me saying it was a j! he was still being shirty even wen i pointed out the filter! muppet!!! didn't spoil any of the fun though. was a bit dissapointed i didn't stay for plastic, i got the munchies during distance and wandered out to get a burger never to return. big up everyone who was there - it was a fat one!!! :)

That was my first DMZ and it was a sick night. Mala absolutely tore it up but yeah i agree a bit of a shame that security were such pricks and £3.50 for a bottle of beer. Jokes. But nothing could stop that being the heaviest night. Roll on DMZ Leeds on the 20th.

Totally heavy night...

Really really enjoyed Kode 9's set. Totally progressive in my eyes. Burial bits sound sick on a big system too. Oh, d'y'all remember that Drop It Like Its Hot thing??? :o :o

Loefah and Mala we're sick as always. How much pressure does Loe exert? :D Oh, and as has been said before, Learn sounded amazing.

Missed alot of Skreams set cos my feet needed a rest, but I wasn't really feeling some of that female vocal stuff that was going off. Colorful sounded lovely though.

Really surprised by how much I enjoyed distance. Wasn't really that fussed about seeing him play in comparison with the others, but he killed it. That rock guitar track that builds into skankrock sickness :o :o :o

Plastic on last was a great move for those of us who were staying til the death. Change of pace, which set me up to have the energy to wait three hours to get my train back to sheffo. Still, a joy to listen to him do his ting. Japan sounded amazing... but the duppy/I like to move it move it bit was

IMMENSE.

my first dmz... chest-rattlin' bass all night. Best induction i could've had.
My back was caning from standing up for so long though, by 4am I was a dead man walking.

I'm sure I met quite a few people round here, though without faces I can't make a match, heh.

The first thing i did when i got in was go to the bar and say "gimme a cheap bottle of something",
to which she said "they're all cheap" and left me down over 3 quid! Pisstake.
