:o
merci :)

For Dubcore... I use the production techniques of dark/neuro dnb (reese), hardcore / gabba (distorted and tonalized 808/909 kicks ), Indus/IDM (metallic synthesized sounds and/or record from microphone)

Then... All these sounds are applied to a halfstep structure at 140/150 bpm.

Sorry, my English is very bad :?

"Hardcore/Core" is not a style but a treatment... a color of sound.

Dubstep is Techno Music.
Drum'n'Bass is Techno Music.
Electronica is Techno Music.
BigBeat is Techno Music

The Neo-Rave Has Begun

Wow, first post...the excision tune (No Escape) is mighty, I like the beats filled out a bit, almost breakcore like.
Also Noiz and ohmwerk interesting stuff. I guess it is taking dubstep places

Noiz: "keep the bass leaking"

If we sped up the trax, it would no longer be dub or dubstep... soon it would become d'n'b, hardcore or even gabba..!! :5:

So I guess this slow and lazy music is called dubcore, simply because it remains rooted in dubstep but has an emphasis on hard and twisted sounds?!

I personally append "core" to anything that is distorted and more industrial than the normal style.. (An example could be Balladcore ;)... Balladcore would take the traditional ballad model and apply chainsaws, knuckledusters and banshees etc... :P :|) ya ya.. you get the picture.. :) :P

Dubstep at 180bpm will pretty much sound like Amit's tunes (halfstep dnb).
