Aye, that was indeed hilarious! I just remember opening my eyes for one of the few times that evening (hazy, hazy night!) and thinking I was suddenly at some hairy metal gig - genius. What tune prompted it, you remember?ct&d wrote:Skream's nite in December was large (although the front of the dancefloor turned into a mosh-pit!!)
Bring on Vex'd though - was spinning Degenerate again last night. ONE LION!

Clark Press
Chris Clark has developed a significant international reputation as a producer since he started releasing records on Warp in 2001. Early recordings Clarence Park, Ceramics is the Bomb and Empty the Bones of You showcasing his exceptional talent which had been influenced by some of the label’s most established artists including The Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Autechre and LFO.
In 2006 Clark released Body Riddle, a dense, subtly textured album of extraordinary emotional depth and incredible creative scope. The album combined elements of all of his influences and garnered exceptional critical acclaim.
At the start of 2008 Clark is back with a new record Turning Dragon, set for release on January 28th. Previews for this album have so far shown a different side to Clark. While he has retained a keen ear for detailed, elegant melody, his ferocious new tracks sound like rave at the end of its tether, powered by churning bass and unhinged techno rhythms. His performance at The Art School will be the first time Clark has played in Glasgow for several years.
His appearance is part of a stellar lineup which also includes Vex’d (Planet Mu) and local heroes Jackmaster (Dress2Sweat, Wireblock, Point. One), Rustie (D2S, Stuff Records), Hudson Mohawke (Warp) and Nelson. Friday 8th February is set to be one of the most memorable nights that the Art School has ever hosted. You have been warned.
