yes epithet, a two colour would be good also (but then the costs are raised also remember). Great ideas though people.

I like images 3 and 10. I would be more inclined to think about getting one if you had the text smaller and on the sleeve.

I really like these two
They're nice and stark. I think they'd be good with only a tiny logo (or maybe the logo on the back).

I think you should move the text and pic down a bit
And deffo change the font
I'll be up for one when they are done

Something tastefull needs to be done with the 'Blooded Blade' text.
I dig the monochrome, stencily images from Seven Samurai and would happily wear any of those with pride.

I agree I think mix up the position / font of the text.

Cheers so far people.
Our first choice would just be our own Bloodied Blade logo (of which we do have t-shirts for ourselves) however, as we want to sell them for as cheap as we'd like to buy them (if we were customers) then a 1 colour screen print is the way forward and we have a guy ready to do them.
As for the font... the font which is used is the same font we use on the actual vinyl labels etc for the writing. That's why it was applied to this. It works on the labels, whether a few of you don't think it works on the t-shirt... that is up to you... and is also why the thread is here.
The images... are just examples so far. Yes they may be geeky, but our Lone Wolf is very much a kung fu geek so why mince about with anything subtle. In your face classic Kung Fu is what we're after. However, yes we'd like to go for our Bloodied Blade logo... but for a 1 colour screen print it hasn't seemed to work well with it. If we could get a colour printing run of t-shirts for as cheap as we want to sell the t-shirts for, then there'd be no worries. We'll see how it goes.
Keep going though fellas, your input is valued
Everyone's opinion is different, but it's just interesting to see how people sway. Cheers so far.

They're just general design ideas on the type of images we like. Other Public Domain kung fu movie stills will most likely be used if we can't work with our Bloodied Blade logo in one or two colour.

^^^haha nice one.

i have been informed that since thats ogami itto's sword ...it was facing the wrong way.
katana that are actually used as weapons (not ornaments) have the curve of the blade facing down. think its got something to do with ease of withdrawl/deployment if a combat situation suddenly arises.
FWIW kung fu is chinese, samurai is japanese.
And does anybody remember kode9's early ghostly green sinocryptic website ? It was the shit !

Yes I know the Blade bends downwards. And yes I do know that the Samurai sword is Japanese, and Kung Fu is chinese.

Yo I like that one Epithet. I was going to design some tonight using the Bloodied Blade logo and possibly a big Kanji symbol etc. But I like that writing in the bottom left hand corner of the image, and the symbols. Looks good.
