my current favourite has to be:

http://jeremyevers.com/?page_id=15

ATLANTIS VST synthesizer
Image

Here's a few selected rows from the atlantis infos:

"3 true stereo morphing oscilators, with independant width, phase, spread, chorus, tuning, volume, envelope and panning feed into a pair of filters (with your standard algorithms and a lot of unique new favorites), a shaper (distortions and beyond), and a simple room modelling multitap filtered delay system with another pair of selectable filters. The routing of the filters and shaper can also be switched into a variety of configurations for further flexibility."

"Every slider parameter can be controlled by ANY modulator. LFOs, Envelopes, Midi Control Data, the current note, velocity, follower, or combinations of them can be used to modulate your sounds into expressive organic creations previously unheard by human ears."

read the tutorial/manual to fully appreciate the stuff this baby can do

oh. and did i mention it is free?

its all about those mental spectral waves on the Predator. I have massive but im not too keen on it. Also Albino+Blue are heavy.

Massive & FM8 as standard...

But lately i've been really digging this 'Arturia Analog Factory' synth I got a demo of with my midi controller... Just found the cd and installed it finally. Got some real nice sounds..

Image

Got presets from CS-80v, minimoog and a few other bits of hardware I can't afford/find. Pretty simple but good sounds and is good fun

Hey man if you're talkin about the Arturia Analog Factory... Check out this http://www.arturia.com/evolution/en/pro ... intro.html

I got the older version but the new one seems to have the Jupiter

"All presets are carefully selected from the Arturia Classic Synths (minimoog V, Moog Modular V, CS-80V, ARP 2600 V, Prophet V, Prophet VS and Jupiter-8V). These TAEĀ® powered sounds offer unparalleled audio quality."[/b]

i find massive the most fun to work on, so I will say it's my fav, even though I can't always fit the large intense sounds it puts out in.

Albino is probably my fav in terms of the sound.

oh my, how could anyone forget about this one!

Waveshaping galore... gives NI Massive, all the Rob Papen synths and Reason 4 a run for its money by itself... and its really old now haha :)

Zeta+ is reskinable too... How many synths let you change the GUI! :)

Boomshanka!

FM8 - ace for pads and sounds you can layer in subtley.

Z3ta - more aggressive sounding. Cool if you process the render after you make it. Loads of stuff I have in my tracks comes originally from Z3ta and them gets manipulated.
