Hugh wrote:if you have reason 4 i recommend using thor you can do a lot more with it. The 3 filter/oscillator option can really bring out some growly basslines, or, if u are inclined, warm floaty types :]
honestly i almost started to think about moving onto other software until thor came out
I am still learning how to use a synth:) I have had a go with Thor but it has a million buttons that mean nothing to me.
Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

yh it aint great
u can test it urself
make sure theres no red in ur mixer then export 2 mp3
youll notice how quiet ur track is
then boost up so u get it sounding as loud as possible w/o distortion
then make an mp3 and listen back
after i finish a track in reason i always make 8-15 mp3s until i get it sounding right. i think its probably easier to just rewire in cubase, but my cubase aint working
reason aint as bad as lots of ppl try 2 make it out 2 b
i kno top producers who use reason 2 a high lvl
its all about what you can do with the software and how u like 2 make ur music..

All it is, is knowing your software inside out, and knowing its limits and how much you can push it.
