Had some sound boy issues, but once it was sorted BENGA dropped some serious records. Love has a great system but they got to get it on point. Good night though

just got home. ridiculous time tonight. sound issues sucked. benga was intensity. non stop killer tracks. butter butter butter. i got pushed, punched in the back, bit my tongue and kicked in the left buttcheek and i could still say this was one of my favorite times at love in the past year. big up the late night falafel crew! white sauce and non. (naan)

so im sitting here at work. thinking about the insanity of last night.
ill review the night by saying....i never heard LOVES sound, sound SO bad before in my life. i felt almost embarassed...hard to explain.
anyway...benga stepped up and i think everyone was a bit irritated with what happened. a total teaser. and the whole time i think benga was just completely confused. at least he looked it. seriuosly though...wtf.
but as soon as it was sorted, he destroyed us all.
and seriously, i wanna hear NO takl about the insanity of the dancing. you cant handle it, stand back. no one was there to hurt anyone. you get a bottle of something in someone or a few bottles....and then give them benga...right there...back to back insane tracks...you are going to get people just losing their minds dancin about. its up to you to look out for that. and trust me, there were a few kids who were a bit rude, and all i had to do was tap them on the shoulder and inform them that they were throwin their fists a little too hard. and they stopped...at least by me.
but for real. heard a few comments from regulars and just wanted to say, as much as i love you boys...RELAX. loosen up yo! it was benga. im sure he was excited seeing us like animals rather than standing there nodding our heads acting too cool for school.
everyone feels stuff differently and you cant tell anyone how to act. so know your spot. if you stand in the middle of a group of drunk kids going bananas, then you will get bumped into. we have all discussed this before.
i said my 2 cents. sorry.
but really...i am a bit cloudy headed today here at work. cant wait to leave. but i wouldnt have had it any other way...

just a quick word on sound issues last night...
the club's sound guy had to cancel at the last minute and the dj's were stuck with the difficult task of trying to manage the club's incredibly complex system. the t+b guys had to navigate a pretty tough situation for a bit. in the end it got worked out (respect to dj seoul for the expertise) so thanks to those who stuck it out. was still a lot of fun! also respect as always to the latenight stamina gang!

i was definitly a part of the rowdy crew and i apologize to anyone i annoyed but that was soooo fucking fun! everyone around my was definitely throwing down haaarrrrd and i didnt sense any hostility, only LOVE! benga fucking blewwww that shit upppp and i was slave to it, what can i say? i havnt had that much fun at a show in a while. dubmosh? it was gettin dirty in there as far as i could tell. one girl told me not to bump into her in the begining of the set but i didnt see her again and didnt really have any hostility as i said. hopefully i didnt go overbord im sorry if i did i just loooove when everyone is bumpin into eachother it makes the show so much better IMO. i was the small kid with the SD padres hat on, first time at love, first time seeing any dubstep live, and i will be back for suuuure. im addicted. cant wait til the 18th!

can i just repeat how amazing that really was? maybe im just a huge dubstep n00b but holy fuck. im straight addicted. ive been listening to dubstep mixes for a few months now but just being beat up by bass like that is just amazing. was Benga especially raw? i mean, i just dont know much but i do know that it was instense!
