This was a good night. Not been to the Custard Factory for years - always a good vibe in there.
The dubstep area was by far the biggest and most hyped of all three (the other two areas being dnb and hip hop). The system was beefy too.
Sad that I couldn't make it over the street to the other night at Rooty Fruitys as that looked good too.

Every tune that u hear get played is a remix or blended with another tune its hard to explain. for example it 1 mix started with the build up of skream kinky an dropd as a darker version ov benga emotions with kinky's kick snare an samples. Its like Skream and Benga where tainting each others tunes as thet dropped CRAZY! an very hard explain!
the future...?

cheesy chips is utterly, utterly wrong.
even saying the words, even reading the words, makes me feel slightly ill
an abhorration

you simply do not know Ben, it is a delicacy of heart-hurting glory
what about cheese pon baked potato? surely you feel differently about that?

personally I would avoid it, but I have no objection to it as such
BUT
this is a very different proposition to that of cheesy chips... the tangy orangey substance they smear over the chips hardly even qualifies as cheese in the first place. they should really call it 'greasy elastic chips with free morning vomit'. heart hurting is definitely otm!
your northerners with your bizarre customs continually amaze me

Seriously tho, cheers for the pictures and that tho Miller and the description- nice to see what this is all about. Real pissed I missed them in London, though hopefully they will take the concept further over summer and gig the festivals and that...can definately see live production of this sort as a new direction for the music- cut and pasting it would seem.

ha yeh perhaps such atrocity is in my blood
i must say i was speaking more on cheesy chips as a general proposition rather than any specific vendor... plastic orange cheese does not sound so good

i would like to know exactly what they were doing as i found it boring and left. Seemed like they were just playing tracks off ableton and mixing them into each other in a not very interesting way. i could be wrong, but thats the impression i got.
N-Type smashed it!!!
Havnt been the custard factory for years was good to see a nice vibe has returned and the darkness of yesteryear gone.

sick night! shame N-Type was on so early though, I got in at 12.15 or so and he'd already been and gone.. doors only opend.. at what... 10?
Still, Magnetic Man killed it! those guys were vibing! Loving the edits to the big tunes like Night and 2D.
The DJ playing after was a bit predictable... but the dude after him was killing it, when he played that goth trad piece Cut Edge / Flags (can't remember which side is which).. woah... I was in the zone after that.
When's the next one???

yeah this was very strong mature cheddar. massive. don't get it twisted.
another gripe i have with the boys, apart from refusal to take part in my orgy of carbohydrate delights, was that they DID NOT PLAY LIGMA.
it was sick tho. just weird, finishing at 9 (this was their bristol gig)
