i'm into it, i walked into a club the other night where the dj was remixing the original inna contemporary electro style and it was heavy, reminded me just how awesome the track is. all the corner stones deserve homage one way or another- which is why i'm all for this concept.

Released 1983

You also have to remember that at the time of it's release Blue monday was something of a departure from new orders origional sound. it brought the new techno sound of detroit into the north of England. I really don't think re-interpreting the sound with a new electronic modern genre is in anyway wrong

I did mean 80s;)

I agree with what New Order did with the music sure. But this remix has none of it at all. It is infact, quite a cheesy remix.
Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

thanks people!

and for the original, i started producing with quite mixed feelings... i expected that some of you wouldn't like it, regarding the original.... i fully understand you, that's why i said no offense in my first post ;)

it's a just for fun remix, like i said... of course the original is untouchable, but i thought it would work relatively well as dubstep...
that's why i didn't use any vocals and reedit the bassline a bit..

thanks for all feedback anyway 8)

Sounds good....but the vocal after the drop gets all bogged down in the mix.
I like it there it just needs to be turned up a notch or two.
Cheers for the song.

Some tunes should never be touched!

a statement like this is reason enough to remix it :)
