yeh nine bar (as i walked past) was one of the best sounds i heard, it was so punchy, the air around there was getting battered

was all about the floats and soca for me though, i've never experienced anything like that before

looking forward to this year!

apologies if i'm bein a bellend but on that link it says

King Tubby's and Studio One soundsystems....

does that actually mean it's the actual people and the actual system, or are they just sort of tribute soundsystems or something?

notting hill is amazing!

ive been for the past 8 years in a row! not missing it this year! its better than christmas in my opinion!

weed, chicken, rum and TUNES! cant get any better :!:

i walked past that system last year but they were playing some breaks if im not mistaken so i carried on walking to all saints road for the dnb :?

so is ninebar system just gong to play dubstep this year??
if not then there needs to be a stage just for dubstep! its about time there was one just dedicated for it!

as of afterpartys i normaly go to the pub on the corner of labroke grove, think its called the mitre?
they always play a bit of everything and the vibez are wicked in there! last time evryone was doing the conga around the bar! even the staff got involved! was jokes!!!!!

I have never been to carnival but this made me laugh so hard i think it would be rude not to go:

"I am interested in having a sound system at Carnival. How do I go about arranging a site?

The director for sound systems is Lewis Benn who was elected by the British Association of Sound Systems (BASS).

All sound systems are registered with BASS, however there are a limited number of suitable sites available in the Carnival area."
