Rewinds should be banned. Spoil the flow. Abomination.

some tunes just need a pull-up. sorry, but they do.
if a tune destroys the dance, why not give them it again?
+-3
/6-1*2+0.3
6.15
(+1-2) = -1
-1 + (-3) = -4
-4/[6-(1*2)+0.3] =
-4/3.7 = -1.081
rewind is a part of dubstep that should/could never get banned

yu all got it wrong!
step 1: play ah bangin tune
step 2: book ah emcee to host yur show
step 3: have yur fellow dj friends/crew present around yu while yu spin
step 4: dig for the nex tune or glance away from yur decks to que the nex tune for di mix
step 5: watch as the host emcee and/or yur fellow crew members rudely and abruptly wheel back the record damaging yur precious needles as they give in to the crowds every whim
and that my friend is a succesful rewind

rewinds are a part of club culture, if the crowd asks for it you better give it to them!

6 - 2 + 0.3 is 4.3, not 3.7.
had to be said.

not entirly true tbh...with the dubstep scene most certainly, not sure what otehr scene features the use of a rewind...possibly dub culture although Im open to correction on that one. Been to a few dnb nights (although I generally dont listen to it that much) and iv never heard a rewing there either, nor at any of hte techno, electro, house nights I go to...
rewinds...they have their place, no doubt, and if the corwd is screaming for it then it has to be done but coming from club scenes where sets flow from one tune to the next seamlessly I just cannot get into it them at all, a slight feeling of dissapointment overcoems me whenever DJ's wheel a tune in the dance.
