didnt realise it had stopped.. was real good we used to go a lot, you shoulda come down with us mate! vibes were live in there, possibly some of the best crowds ive ever seen, tho it did turn too jazz vocal and i did spend most my time wishin it was fwd>>
It was wicked the few times i went but i was always into the tougher stuff too. I think it just finished at pp's, they had a new venue lined up so i was told?

[quote="appleblim"]innit, regarding broken beat, i find i'm goin back and diggin stuff that i stupidly ignored, thinkin it was too 'jazzy' -
check out the bugz in the attic fabric mix or if u can find it the mix they did for breaking point magazine......i'll upload if i get the time.......deep beats and very phat basslines.......not too far off early darqwan ...artwork "red"...domu and seiji made some serious beats.....but not too jazzy in the instruments...pure phat electronics but with serious swing:D
still drop it now to this day.....
there's some at the back end of this 2004 mix of mine (carmel, nutmeg and freedom sounds)

Heavy mix, Artwork-Red is on there, I got in to dubstep a couple of years after and the ghostly familiarity of that tune wasn't didn't become clear until I listened to this mix again.

2562's tunes are really amazing. Haven't checked dogdaze but will now.
Tectonic puts out a lot of great stuff. Not sure if it's a minimal vibe or how to describe it exactly but there's definitely a sound that they're pushing and I'm into it.

I absolutely love this tune. Dropped it a week ago in NE PA -- tore up the dance.
[For my old-school househeads] Does anyone remember the Barbara Tucker classic "Beautiful People"? The intro has that sort of feel....the stabby synth piece.
One of my tunes of the year -- sick!
