quite the opposite Dubloke,I been into the music since before it was shoehorned into the dubstep bracket.
I am however a hater of corporate cash ins on underground music and the negative effect once that cash cow has been milked.
By underground i mean music from the heart created by people whose prime motivation is self expression and bringing pleasure to others,rather than carving out some inevitably short lived pop star career path...
Note I am NOT including the incredibly talented Skream or any currently active producers that I can think of in this bracket , but rather the inevitable 'there has always been a Dubstep element to our music' pretenders who are bound to appear over the next few years.
I apologise for makin the off hand 'what shirt skream was wearing?' comment earlier but I was exagerating in order to get my point across.

If you've got a decent point to make why cloud it by wording it in a way that is bound to piss people off? I think a less confrontational rewording was necessary.

said. and said well, jubzy. a few people here might agree with you y'know judge. regarding that particular night- props to the promoters for putting on what seems to have been an excellent night. i chose not to go because it's completely not my sort of thing but in a scene growing as quickly as dubstep has done you cant expect these huge nights at megaclubs with expensive beers not to start happening.

Any more than you can expect me to not avoid them like the plague. I'd much rather check these things at the smaller nights and avoid the influx of hipsters at the bigger ones.

I been mixing Dubstep since 92 when I was 5 and got my first fisher price record player, though I only found out it was called dubstep yesterday

Also, isn't the correct answer to the Mel Gibson debate that he is in fact Jesus?- this would solve many, many issues

Why care who gets on dubstep. So long as there's something coming out your feeling, or places to go with line up's your into, just let it be.

Yeah I agree, I went to Dubpolice which was probably the emptiest I'd seen a dubstep club, but had a really good night (except the pricks at the end who clearly came just for a fight) DMZ 3rd birthday was probably the mst packed I'd seen it at a dubstep night and it was also a sick night, but it was so crammed I didnt have my own space and couldn't move around the room freely which I like being able to do. I'm sure Ministry was just as packed?
