Post by scientifik » Thu Nov 06, 2008 6:09 pm

Just a quick note to everyone posted up here...

New 12" release dropping with Lee Scratch Perry's first dubstep tune. Collab with Dubblestandart (Vienna) and Subatomic Sound System (NYC).

It's comin out on white label super limited release hand stamped Jamaican vinyl for a promotional tour in North America and u can get it at shows (some copies might be leaked to stores). Info here: www.subatomicsound.com

The tune Iron Devil is a dubstep relick of one of his most classic joints (u may know one of the many 70s versions "Chase the Devil", "Disco Devil", "Croaking Lizard" or "Lucifer" [as sampled by Kanye/Jay-Z])

Greetings dub addicts,

Advance release 12" vinyl hit the stores last week and are mostly sold out already, but here are two record stores who still have stock left...

Red Eye Records (UK)

DUBBLESTANDART "Iron Devil" 12" feat. Lee Scratch Perry & Prince Far-I
remixes by Subatomic Sound System & Tom Watson

"Advance pressing of this promising new dub release from Vienna's Dubblestandart. A-side features two remixes of the Lee Perry-produced classic "Chase The Devil" (made famous by The Prodigy and Jay-Z amongst others). First, there's a dubstep version(1) by NYC's Subatomic Sound System, followed by Dubble's dancehall dub version(2). The flip gets deeper into the dark dubstep with two tracks(3,4) by Tom Watson featuring Prince Far-I and the UK's Dub Syndicate." TTlab
