up until bazooka tooth, although I find him harder to listen to now.
yeah labour days is just incredible. I don't mind his newer stuff, i guess its hard to follow up an album as monumental as that.

I know this is some 2000 shit, but i'm just gonna say THE COLD VEIN

can't tell one song really

but if I can tell one album that absolutely tops everything made in the 90's it's got to be Liquid Swords by GZA

for the beats
for the lyrics
for the vibe
for the real hip-hop :)
3 things I miss most from the UK... swede, cider and the music scene!

Nas- The World is Yours

Pete Rock and CL Smooth- T.R.O.Y.

Wu Tang- C.RE.A.M.

It's probably between those 3

Mos Def - Mathmatics (1999)
Common feat. Sadat X - 1999 (1999 - unsuprisingly)
Taskforce - The Low Down Show Down (1999)
Gang Starr - Above the Clouds (1998)
Black Star - Respiration (1998)
B.I.G - Kick in the Door (1997)
Shabaam Sahdeeq - Arabian Nights (1997)
Mos Def and Reflection Eternal - Fortified Live (1997)
Jeru the Damaja - Me or the Papes (1996)
Common - I used to love H.E.R.(1994)
Jeru the Damaja - Da Bichez (1994)
Nas - Memory Lane (Sittin' in da Park) (1994)
B.I.G - Unbelievable (1994)
The Pharcyde - Passing me By (1992)

More of a long list than a single track....it's a distraction from Uni work.

If I had to pick one though...it's probably be Common - Used to love H.E.R.

Either this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n4Kwwglg ... re=related

Or this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rhZVq-bZ ... re=related

All about hip-hop with a message.

Plus they go hand in hand with sunshine for some reason?!

Good vibes

A mention? It derserves winning the thread. Ultimate chill out hip hop tune!

Far too many to choose from though.

A Tribe Called Quest's Award Tour, pretty much anything from Nas's Illmatic, Main Source's Fakin' The Funk, Black Moon's Got Ya Opin, the list goes on!
