surely there are more Mighty Boosh fans in here?

Series one is pure, concentrated genius

series two is .. pretty damn funny

i wouldn't really recommend series three..

but get on series one wherever you can. and the radio show.

fawlty towers is my all time favorite! All Blackadder seasons are very good.
I recently bought The young ones and loving it. Bottom rocks also and I just have seen the first season of black books and enjoyed it a lot!

Instead of engaging in intelligent conversation and enlightening debate, I'm just going to present my personal favs in a dispassionate list:

- The Thick of It.

- Nathan Barley

- The Mighty Boosh (Series 1 and bits of 2 only)

- Brass Eye

- The Day Today

- Spaced

- Peep Show (Series 1, 2 and 3 only)

- Garth Marenghi's Darkplace

- Alan Partridge

- Father Ted

- The Fast Show

- Fawlty Towers

There you go. Interesting, eh?

Im surprised theres not more love for Green Wing in the place!
One of the finest pieces of classic english comedy in a long while in my opinion. All the best UK comedy centres around absoloute nutters in my opinion, and green wing brought us some of the least sane people ive seen on TV in a long while :D

right now its all about Gavin & Stacey. unbelievably funny sitcom.

ive been watching all The Young Ones past couple of weeks as well, they are all online to stream if you look hard enough. classic show and its boss when they have someone like Madness singing in the living room every show

Peep Show
The Boosh
Spaced
Red Dwarf
Blackadder
Bottom Partridge
Brass Eye
The Office
Harry Enfield & Chums

all deserve special mentions, if theres one thing we english are good at Tv wise its comedy, while America shits all over us when it comes to Drama (24, Lost, Heroes, Sopranos etc)

Benny Hill may be buried but he's still runnin'around after dolly birds up there.
Seinfeld's the best Brit comedy (altho London looks a bit wierd) since Cleese & Steptoe.
Everything else seems to be too try-hard.

All about The League of Gentlemen
Best British comedy to come out since the genius that was Blackadder.

Green Wing is fantastic, Sue White is my hero. "Do i look like a mug? Am i made of china? Am i kept in a cupboard or on a small wooden shelf? Would you like to put your mouth on my rim? You MAY answer that question the rest were rhetorical..."
