Coki - Haunted and Loefah - monsoon dub at DMZ were the first tracks to really grab me.

i checked out that thread on the grid on DOA - and heard "murkle von turtle" which eventually turned out to be gamma by luke envoy.
the other track would be saints and sinners by distance.

Millennium Funk, Groove Chronicles... big tune!
dug it out the other day. Plus who know's about the double pack
Zed bias album with Reason's ect on it. Dug that out as well and
its huge.

Ottawa, late November 2004: KODE9 - Dislokated, off the Rephlex sampler. Hardly listened to anything else for the following weeks. 'Bout two or three months passed till I found out there was more of that stuff out there than just these 10 tracks ...and that the compilation was somewhat misleadingly titled

there was a skream big apple mix from 04. that mix made me stop spendin my money on hip hop records. i remember when horror show came in i decided it was all over.
