This should be a lot of fun.

One question - most festivals have a chill-out zone. Does the Big Chill have a Lare-Out Zone instead? Might explain the presence of certain acts :)

lol They might just have an uber-chill out zone where people are injected and wrapped in wool.

i'm there this year.
last 3 i went to have been lovely.
altho i have developed sun stroke on the way home every time.
a small price to pay.
if the weather is good - the festival has SUCH a nice vibe during the day and by night its just like a lot of other festivals.

skream last year was good altho the sound system was odd too say the least. the speakers in the dub shack were actually PAINTED ON!!!
shockin'.

Watch out for the fake security guards. Some hard looking blokes, looking like the real deal going round searching people and their bags , then confiscating certain items.

Cheeky buggers. I assume you can always ask security for identification? Also, they should only really search you when your going in shouldn't they? If anyone asks to search me randomly on the site I'll be weary.

Doesn't look that bad at the minute... http://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/FREE/eve ... ventID=637

Last 'camping festival' I went to was Glasto '07...so anything will seem sunny compared to that.

oh my days benga actually fucking smacked it....after some serious needle issues. did anyone else notice the ridiculous gurn the soundguy was sporting throughout bengas set haha it was intense! caspa and rusko were pretty fucking good too, but for some reason their sound was alot shitter than all of the other music that had been on before. there was so little high end you could barley work out the melodies in the tunes, but all in all it was a sick weekend!

Out to anyone who caught me and RBIZ from Committee playing on Big Chill Radio 12-2 sat night. Caspa Rusko were good agree about the sound system.

Had to see Leonard Cohen over Benga because there really is only one choice.

Did anyone catch Memory 9 or Daedulus i thought it was pretty nuts,
