'hate' threads for pluggin: a result of a (mildly) arrogant online persona ('self belief' which imo will never come across in any other way than arrogance on the internet) and producer's saying things like 'Yo check ma beats, i make sick burnin fiyah dubstep yall gonna die when yo hear dis'...which more often than not ends in disappointment...then if somebody say's it's not very good or they don't like it, they themselves are vilified by the producer for not giving 'constructive criticism'...from time to time the producers sometime forget; The listener doesn't owe them words of wisdom or reasoning for saying they don't like it...and it goes on. The way to avoid these scenarios should be obvious.

I believe there is a lot of love for talented new producers.
Regarding " Hate " : the best answer to hate would be to avoid answering with hate, and to simply treat it as feedback to be integrated in the creation process.

that said, there's a tactful way to dissect and critique, and there's a rude way. and i think their initial reaction was to a rather rude remark. that said, getting all defensive didn't help.Little Boh Peep wrote:I don't think there's hate for new producers. i figure if you put your stuff out there for critique, you can't be thin-skinned about it. someone is always not gonna like it, and you may even get super rude comments. at some point you have to let it roll off yer back, or you will not last long.

There is a Dubs section for Dubs and the Dubstep section for 'hype', if you were to post a picture of your Gran building schools for children in Africa in the Hideout she'd still get hate.
That thread was ridiculous, one guy lashed out and then most of the rest of the comments were along the lines of "I really don't like this kind of stuff but it's fine for you to do it" then it just got daft.
Someone in that thread hit the nail on the head with the comment "I no longer like to go to the types of raves where they play this kind of music".

I laughed out loud to that and lost any sympathy for the producers point of view.Breathe Beats wrote: what you have to understand is that we make what we like
and at the moment caspa and rusko makes the kind of dubstep that makes you wanna flykick a homeless person
Thats what we like so thats what we create

Yeah, tbf it was kind of ironic after that post when there were loads of people saying "where did the good vibes go and why can't we be nice to people?"stanton wrote:That thread was ridiculous, one guy lashed out and then most of the rest of the comments were along the lines of "I really don't like this kind of stuff but it's fine for you to do it" then it just got daft.
