i'm genuinely shocked to hear this. when i saw the thread title i figured this happened somewhere in the uk, the last place i expected it to occur was in tokyo.

having patroned unit/saloon a good number of times i can say that i've never seen or heard of anything as bad as that, hell, not even in my whole time in tokyo (i've seen worse things happen to foreigners in fukuoka but theres a history thing there). when your friend came back into the club with his face bleeding didnt the staff ask him what had happened and if he was ok??

by the description of the guys i'd say they don't sound like they were there for the dubstep. i blame drum'n'bass.

Where were the bouncers? Funny how they will notice you twistin erb in a dark corner of a room full of 500 people but are nowhere to be seen when a gang of idiots starts on someone...

I don't want to make this an issue but it's up to all of us to make sure these events run smooth. This goes for the promoters, DJ's, MC's, nightclub staff and most of all the audience. Everybody has an effect on the vibe of a night and if you see something kicking off do what you can to lessen the effects of the wrongdoers. It only takes one bad apple etc.

If people really want to fight they should go outside and get busy, otherwise it's assault. And like the national lottery, one day it could be you (although the chances are very unlikley).

Remember it's all love, unless it's evol.
This is neither time or the place.

i'm extremely saddened to hear about this violence..

it shocks and sickens me to think that anybody would be hurt at a dubstep dance, or indeed any underground music event..

i send my love to anybody injured... and my assurance that this is in no way typical... one of the greatest aspects of this scene is the pure peace and love vibes that you will find at dubstep dances... and in my experience, this extends to all cites i've visited in Japan...

Dubace. What the fuck was the point of your first post in this thread??? Sitting behind your computer screen acting like a badman. Well personally, I think you're a tnuc. Infact, I rephrase my first question - Dubace, what is the point of you?

It happened to THC, Hash Money & me down Brighton, its not a nice expirence at all. Really hurt up Hash Money too, something wrong about seeing 5-7 people kicking someone who is face down on the floor. Sad to see anywhere but in Japan, in a Dubstep event! I'd bet my last dollar it wouldnt happen there but as stated above wasteheads are all over the place.

Chin up tho mate

I was surprised you had trouble in brighton. Its by far the safest place Ive ever lived. Obviously bad things can happen anywhere though :(

I've only been there once but I thought it was one of the best places I've been to in terms of atmosphere. If there was any trouble I would have thought the bouncers would have sorted it pronto?

Its located in quite a rough part of leeds and you get your dick head 15 year olds all ganging up on you when you go to the toilet. Just bad times, bouncers didnt really do anything. Great atmosphere dont get me wrong

I have to say that people who had nothing to do with us or the attackers were jumping in to try and split it up! BIG respect to them for risking a head kicking too!!!

the bouncers (all 2 of them) eventually came and led my mate off up the stairs....thats when I recieved my stomping to the head cos no1 was there to stop them!

its sad to think that people are rethinking going to a night because there was trouble there before or it has a bad reputation for trouble...it really is those few that ruin it for everyone else....I really wanna go to the next event at that club (Mala and Goth Trad) but am put off by the thought of something similar/those twats being there again! dont fancy 5 more stitches to my lip...for apparently a bumped shoulder!!!!!!

I suppose if you go again you could talk to the bouncers and explain what happened last time. I'm sure they dont want any trouble in the club as much as you.

Fuck me, some people these days, they don't have respect for themself let alone others. Don't really know what to say bro, sept glad every1 was ok in the end. It is a great shame this kind of stuff happens way too much, n like others have said most of the time people get attacked assulted for as little as looking at some1 bumping their sholder and for no particular reason at all. As for the mugging people, their money fones weed and stuff at clubs pubs or in the street just makes me feel sick. Its quite obvious that that these kinda people either aint right in the head never got enough love from mummy, suffering from depression or are just unhappy mixed up people. I really have trouble understanding how people could or waant to do such things. I know for a fact that i couldn't rob any1, i just aint got it in me i would feel way to guilty if i did and as for attacking people for no reason i could never ever ever do such a horrible thing. I know booze can make peps violent, and when i was like 18 and i was drinking in pubs i have got in to a little trouble through having too much drink. I will 100% own up that drink has made me go from mr nice guy to agressive. So now i don't drink partly becoz of that and i didn't want to end up badly hurting any1 n to be honest i don't really enjoy drinking n the hang overs i used to get was killers, Now i smoke the herb get chilled and relaxed non violent and have no hang overs.
My conclusion is people that go out n end up attacking and robing peps know they need help to control this and should seek help to try make them a better person consuling or something. I know a lot of peps say once bad allways bad, but i don't quite agree. Some peps can be helped. Anyways enough of my rambling, Blessings brother.

While the vibe at the windy centre is always wicked you definitely have to keep your wits about you. Quite a lot of things have happened there in the 4/5 years I've been going and that's just to my immediate friends. There's always dick heads where ever you go.
