I'll mix nuskool breaks in with my dubstep, artists like Baobinga, Phrenetic are good for that sort of thing. Tipper and SOTEG sound great too

any bassline recommendations for the curious? I've heard a few bits n pieces that where quite interesting, in a utilitarian kind of way, Rossi B & Luca play some tunes I think are bassline house & it goes wikid with grime.

( if ya not takin the piss that is  )

I'm serious ! there's some cool bits on that label called "Runnin'" - producer called Sirus is a good one. Went to a bassline house night a couple of weeks ago and it was COLD ! they played all kinds of grime and dubstep mixed in.....

nice one, I like the idea that its being played with grime n dubstep as well, sounds heavy. wish I could find some online tho, searching for bassline house on juno gets 5 bits, & the only other place I've seen a few is htfr & I dunno about them, guess I'll have to cop some mixtapes for now.

the last mix i posted had some non-dubstep in it, there's a lot of stuff that can be mixed in w/ dubstep, only thing that's usually lacking is the heavy sub bass..

Yeah couldn't agree more, theres about 3 or 4 TTA tracks that are amazing to mix with dubstep. also theres 3 edIT tracks. and 3 Tom Burbank tracks... don't really have enough time right now to find the track names. I'll post them sometime soon.

With all of that though, the subbass is lacking. So what you can do is make a remaster of the tune in ableton, and pump the bass way up, render it down. and then dj it.

Art Of Noise - Moments In Love (about 15 years old, and doesn't even need an edit)
Autechre - Piezo
Psychick Warriors Ov Gaia - Ov The Maenad
FusedMARc - Funny
