By "not too big a breed" I meant a Doberman/Rott/Greyhound etc is out of the question - much as I'd love a Dogue De Bordeux (who get MASSIVE), I can't afford to keep such a big dog both physically and financially.

got nothin but love for ya homes.
just a question. are you nervous about owning an expensive dog? i get worried they will get sick more easily or get run over and then you have massive vet bills

What's wrong with a Shar Pei? My cousin's had a shar pei all her life, I grew up around him.. now I want my own..
You must be under the impression Shar Pei's are any pussy dog. Try fuck with Butch (yes, two dogs in the fam with the same name..)..
As for Chow Chows.. again.. ?
Honest question, would it be "ok" if I'd asked for a Staff or Pit or something like that? I just don't get what makes it "funny" Ness.

i think they're awesome dogs. i love them both. and both would make me stop on the street and coo like a baby upon sight.
you know what though, my friends had a sharpei when i was a kid (henry), and he had skin problems from the rolls
