I've only ever seen these guys do their DnB sets which have all been wicked. Would absolutly love to see them do a full on dubstep set.

Ah cool. They played here in Bristol last weekend actually, for some album release i think [[i didn't go]] but i presume most of it would have been a DnB set but they obviously would've pulled out some of their dubstep tunes.
But i'd really love to see them play just a full on hour dubstep set in an intimate venue, it would be brilliant.

ye the borderline cheesy 80s intro isnt really doin much for me
It's just a bit whack really, their other dubstep tunes that they've made draws you in from the beginning, the sounds they use are intriguing. Where as with this one you gotta skip just past half way in order to feel it.

I have a strong fucking feeling that chase and status are going to be the new pendulum. I dont know why but i imagen them fucking off and going all commericial and making stadium dubstep.

Like think of the early early early pendulum tracks. Vault was a fucking BANGER!

Eastern jam and saxon are really heavy, but it same synths and basslines, so yeah lets hope for the best.

yeah no doubt...those early Pendulum releases were straight banging...and now look at what their output is...

Chase & Status have made some absolutely quality tunes over the years but they have also slipped into cheese territory on a few occasions...and then when i heard 'Pieces' feat. Plan B for the first time a few weeks back i started to feel anxious tbh...

still i have enjoyed all their dubstep efforts so far...'Eastern Jam', 'Saxon' and 'Bits' are cool and 'Running' is the right side of cheesy but a slight dip in form IMO...fingers crossed they keep their dubstep contributions to a high standard...

Yeah plan b can fuck right off, thats what did it for me, i had a quick brief listen to some of their tracks on their myspace to see what the crack was with the new album and i was massively disappointed. It seems they have a label controlling their style almost. If they come out with the "we never intended to make drum and bass line" ill laugh.

Oh great, same bass noise AGAIN, well done guys - some serious boundary pushing.

And that intro actually made me vomit out of both ends, whats wrong with people???
