to clarify:

I sequence VST/samples in FLS8, multi-track editing in Adobe Audition, sound design in Reaktor and SoundForge.

I do nearly ALL of my composition in FL 8 also...I absolutely LOVE how streamlined it is doing certain tasks...I understand it's tricky to wrap your brain around having come from another platform, but the built in tools and overall quality of the plugins are great.

I have tried nearly every single sequencer, and acclimatized myself on just about all of them, but I've been using FL since version 2 and it just "feels like home". :D

I just find it so easy to work with, some people sya its because its a beginer program, but as long as your got the brains and some decent vst's dont see why you cant make bangers on it

I play jewsharp as well. Frank's for me though. Used Reason from version 1 all the way up. Learned 4.0 only to dump it for Ableton 7. And oh yeah madballs FTW

oh my goodness I had forgotten all about them, just got a mad childhood flashback :)

Use Logic 8 for main sequencer, Reason 4 rewired (but also sometimes use it standalone for maximum creative flow). I also do a lot of audio editing and sound design in Pro Tools.

FSTZ's totally spot on - it's all about the end result. I'm really keen to look more into FLStudio and Renoise for some of their great features and tools.
