Not good at all. Looking at the picture I noticed a frequency response bump between 222 and 222.5 HZ.

everyone in my small circle of music friends is getting yamaha hs80m reference monitors, i gotta say, i love them, and they are really subby w/out the 80hz cut (not overly boomy, clean and accurate), and have a huge output if you turn them up, i have to keep them on -50db to not piss off my neighbors =] they are coming down in price too, only $260 apiece brand new at the local store.. i have tried to produce/mix on computer speakers for about 10 yrs and finally got what i wanted (it was hr824's before these)

yeh those hs80m's look nice tbh they got a great review in the last CM mag.

eh? that's a tall order for anyone to make

you must either have spent thousands of dollars or have a rediculously fine ear for your sounds.

always listen to stuff on my monitors, can cane your ears more so than a hifi after a bit though if the volume is cranked

listen to everything, comparing music is really the only way for me to tell if a mix is getting there or not.

regularly A/B music,

plus my monitors all sound pretty good except my ns10's but im used to their sound now.

The key is knowing your monitors, not getting expensive ones (obviously expensive ones WILL be better though 8) )
