I live next to Corsica Studios, so I have a bit of an unfair benchmark. But with a line up like this it would be criminal not to have any bass.

Seeing Plastician at the amersham arms (I know its not known for it's sound system!) a couple of weeks ago was soo depressing, even he got angry at the engineers.

I'm on that depending on if mates come or not. They may end up at another minimal tech/house night though  .

It depends on which room they have more of the dubstep in. Room 1 (big room) is pretty beefy usually, Room 2 can be a bit iffy (plus speakers/DJ booth not ideally located for bass meditation). From the line up it looks like there's gonna be enough dubstep to cover both rooms, so it should be all good!

Still checking with some mates, but probably gonna solo it as usual, although may meet up with spiderman first.

Think they only sold out today or late last night, I got mine yesterday.

Just get there early (10-10.30) or late (1-2am), usually not a problem getting in on the non-birthday nights.

One by one, my mates have all pulled out with lame excuses, so I'm reaching on my own :|

If any of you guys see me (6' 2", glasses, white t-shirt with bright green headphones pattern, going mental on his own) come say hi.
Would be good to put a few names to faces.

Take it easy.

Oh and anyone know anything about the running order?

Only one I know is N-Type and Youngsta said they were on at 3am on their rinse show last night.

I've haven't been blown away by the sound in the end before.

I'm wondering whether the end management will either
a) allow loads of bass because the end is also closing soon and they don't give a shit

b) be a typical club with no bass and the sound will be shit.

I really hope I'm wrong and the sound will be immense. Any one out there know for sure????

no complaints about the bass before, i trust it'll be sick!

This was big. Wasn't sure about the Geeneus set at all, people seemed to like it up the front, but there were some glum mugs at the back.

Everything but that was fucking great though. Skream and Benga tore the place to bits, well... when Skream could make it all the way through a record without rewinding or knocking the needle off... comedy!

Skream vs Benga tracklisting

Post by gonzales246 » Sat Oct 25, 2008 10:22 pm

can anyone name the last tune from skream n bengas set last night? sounded like a special tune for the end closing, and it definitely made the most of those speakers :D was played just after skreams speech about doing ketamine, kind of slow at first but changed tempo as the tune went on.

i wasnt there, but did it have a big soul vocal then drop into a rave bit at the end? if so it could be Skream "I Love The Way You Love Me"...
Keysound Recordings, Rinse FM, http://www.blackdownsoundboy.blogspot.com, sub, edge, bars, groove, swing...
