yeah some of the posh kids from my primary school (ravenstone) went to elliott, but likewise we got quite a few links with elliott at the place i work atm (south thames coll) - and it's not some posh pseudo-grammar exclusive state school, i can confirm that.
i view it more like graveney - rainbow spectrum from badmen to posh wannabe skaters to normal avg kids to everything else in between.
chestnut wasn't big enough to have tribes tho. there were three of us who liked nirvana and wore t-shirts over long sleeves back in 92, and three ain't really a tribe.
the biggest thing at chestnut was always 'who's in the triads and who's just pretending to be in the triads?' at one point the 'triads in schools' thing got onto london tonight, that was jokes.
