Well i took my earplugs along to Toxic Dancehall on saturday and found i didn't need them. The soundsystem guys had it quieter than usual due to council complaints etc, and it was fine i thought... no ringing afterwards, but then there rarely is with the Dissident system. Pure niceness that rig is....

Wearing earplugs all depends on the rig in my experience....

you don't need ears, it's all about lining the peaks up on serato now innit ???

...and i take plugs with me on every big gig i work on, even out clubbing

sometimes after a good session and a few bevvies shit just get's real loud and punters get real annoying...

...sorry for all you fullas hear losses, dunno what to say and even if i did you prolly wouldn't hear me anyway

Did you know that during a stressful period, in a quiet room, you can actually hear your neurons firing away in your brain? It's true. Sounds like ringing.

Maybe we're not going deaf, we're just thinking too hard.

umm actually... that's prolly just your blood running through your head mate.. tho i'm sure your brain works too ;)

'Tis true. Here's a crazy thought: why don't we all just, like, turn the fucking PAs down by 15 db. Nah, too obvious, plus then you wouldn't be able to feel the ~~VIBRATIONZ~~
the pas dont need to be truned down, just engineered better so you dont get those killer high ends like you can get at the level. There are some london clubs i have been too where you have to flee the dance floor when they play certain songs cos the high end is too much.
