Respectfully, this is plain wrong. What content does, say, a 50Hz sine wave have below 50 Hz? Or anywhere else at all for that matter? Why put a filter there that is, in truth, absolutely pointless? You're not rolling anything off - there's nothing there at all. It's basic physics :)

If you're mad enough to make a bassline that interferes with your kick then totally, you will need to make some compromises in that area to work them together somehow. Or if you make a bassline that goes down to 15 Hz or something silly... An experienced man like your good self knows that good arrangement is the answer to all this sort of thing though ;)

Even worse is people saying you have to roll off on full tunes to make headroom. It can actually cost you headroom doing that. As always, it depends :)

Not bitching, though I know it reads like I am... but the physicist in me won't allow it :oops: :lol:
