I don't know where to begin...

The Diamond Family Archive is a good start. There's some really good youtube footage of his live songs. He uses really nice guitar pedal loops and has written some of my all time favourite songs. Such as this one:

Have to give a shout out to Mary Hampton http://www.myspace.com/maryhampton . I hadn't heard of her until Stuart Maconie played a track of hers on last sundays freak zone called "The Bell They Gave You".It's very dark gothic folk and genuinely gives me the creeps[in a good way].I reckon I might just have to get me her album a.s.a.p. .I'd also recommend the Bob Stanley hemmed compilation "Gather in the Mushrooms" for an intro to the late 60s/early70s acid-folk underground.Listening to it again this morning for the 1st time in ages reminded me how good it sounds.
