big ups matt...emos do me head in!!!recorded that show for you by the way bro, just been bare busy!!!will link you later...

id also like to point out that i have loadsa love for the free party scene, used to dj there alot in my younger days its just there are certain folks out there that give it a really bad name 99% of the folks that go to em are safe as,the other one percent are theiving, caniving bastards who just wanna get free k as a result of mugging some other poor soul off,you know as one of em shrugged his shoulders at me the other night he then turned to his chavstain mate next to him and offered him a line of charge....its like???!!!!!

same goes for essex, have loadsa mates there, and as i pointed out in the rant 2 lads cropped up from nowhere having overheard me arguing with the promotors and offered to gimme cash to get home...so safety does exist...

as for why they booked me when they didnt like the music i play,i could not tell you man, used to play drum n bass, maybe they got confused...but they must be complete fucking tards coz all my mixes for the last 8/9months have been dubstep....

the four tunes i did manage to drop were

monsta - you got the love
concious pilot - hash n hydro
flux pavilion - show off
balkansky - united

so big ups you you lot for helping me clear the floor

nuff respect!!!!!

:P

Part of the job really, can't count the numbers of times I was really looking forward to play at a party and it turned out to be real shitty.. But hey, you can always think "it can't get any worse than this can it  "
In particular this story reminded me of a party where me and 2 of my mates who play d&b were booked. It was a small party a friend of mine had given for his birthday. It was also somewhere in the middle of nowhere so we had to travel some time. When we entered a dj also was playing hardtrance and stuff but we decided to play anyhow.. We had agreed that I would first play a little dubstep set (about 30 minutes) and then they would take over with d&b.. Well this is how it went: I played excactly 2 dubstep tunes (I think it was rubber chicken and blue notez) and they played 3 d&b tunes.. After that we spent the ENTIRE evening outside with bottle of wodka since they didn't want to let us play anymore because nobody liked the music and we were too pissed off to go back inside and socialize with all the dicks inside..

So, you're not the only one that's been through all this :D
And.. as hard as it sucked back then, we still crank up laughing every time we talk about it now :D

stuff the town, i wanna know the name of the pub and the street its on. Serious if i was local i would go down to said pub and put the fucking windows in. They took the piss. No1 mugs off a fellow dubstepper in this world and gets away with it. Off with thier heads .
