Hang tight the du-du-du-du-dududuh.
Couldn't have said it better mate!
I'm also currently feeling the stuff Martyn, TRG, Kutz, LD and Rossi B & Luca are cooking up!

joker
starkey
guido
gemmy
Joker and Starkey at the top for reason just because of more material and releases, however gemmy has got a new release comin (supligen i think?) and one out already that is sick. Guido though deserves more releases more than anyone in my opinion. not sure if everyone would call them "experimental" but they are definitely pushin the boundaries

Ebola
His more recent tunes have been a bit more formulated if you know what I mean, but pretty much %99 of what he does is mental, really bizzare sounds and beats.

genres are for the closed minded individual who doesnt think "out the box"
this comment was meant in terms of production values and aspirations. Personal opinion obviously.

That may be , but they certainly help to described commonality between music.
For example when i hear something has an 'acid' edge to it it may tell me that the music has some sort of relationship to late 80's early 90's Acid house. perhaps it is describing a resonant synth sound, or a certain intensity.
Its pretty useful in my opinion.
I don't see that you have to stick to any genre rules.
For those who don't think 'Genre' is invalid by all means continue to describe the music that you listen to as "Good Music"
Actually i like the term "Bass Music". I sort of encompasses more.

I'd say all the names mentioned are true, TRG, Joker, Jamie Vex'd, Kutz (to name a few) are all doing big things. I'm really feeling the "If You know - Skream" sound as well
