GUNJACK Appreciation thread..
Yeah man, Gunjack has been online and making tunes (whatever that style may be) before Estonia even knew what the internet was...i've known him since 1998 or thereabouts on the old Submerge board.
This imposter kid should wind his neck in, stop slinging his toys outta his pram and obtain an original name without dissing someone who is already very much involved in the worldwide scene.

There's no reason to speak so negatively about one of the most talented up and coming producers in Estonia. Mexico's Gunjack is still very unknown, sorry to say... he might be a big name in techno, but not in dubstep or dnb. I'll be honest and say I've never heard of him til now, and I've been in deejaying for 14 years. At the end of the day, they both deserve respect for working hard of making you and I bob our heads and dance if we want to.Tec wrote:Yeah man, Gunjack has been online and making tunes (whatever that style may be) before Estonia even knew what the internet was...i've known him since 1998 or thereabouts on the old Submerge board.

Tallinn's Gun Jack aka Woodpacka has been producing d+b for several years and lived in the UK for a bit studying production with the likes of Hazard and other Jump Up masters. His dubstep productions rival that of Rusko and Skream, always demanding the rewinds... and he is a sick DJ to boot.
To not have this drama go any further, he has changed his name to Gunstab and is signed to Bassism, Heavy Artillery, and one more I can't mention yet that will blow everybody's socks off.

for what it's worth, which isn't much... when my partner and I saw that a Gunjack was posting on this forum, we actually thought it was the techno producer.
He's very well known(the techno producer), so that argument is out the window. I'm not here to copyright someone elses name for them, but if the discussion is about 2 Gunjack's, I was thinking it was that one.
That doesn't change anything though, the tunes I've heard by this guy are large. That said, it's not who I thought it was.

He changed his name to kill the drama, and you're still slanging mud. I asked alot of my techno friends and they had heard of you, but not any of your music. Considering how much I like Techno now, you're insulting a would-be fan. I would bet money you've never heard of half the bands I listen to, but I wouldn't call you ignorant bcuz of it.gunjack wrote:The Lexxus wrote:Mexico's Gunjack is still very unknown, sorry to say... he might be a big name in techno, but not in dubstep or dnb.
look i am not gonna get further into a pissing contest but i did my thing long before this kid in estonia, your personal ignorance toward my body of work makes me unknown to YOU not "unknown" in general.
ALSO THERE IS MORE TO MUSIC THAN JUST DNB AND DUBSTEP AND IF PEOPLE LIKE THE NEWLY CHRISTENED "GUNSTAB" WOULD MAYBE LISTEN TO OTHER TYPES OF MUSIC, HIS MUSIC WOULD NOT SOUND LIKE ANOTHER CLICHE RUSKO OR SKREAM COPY.

actually the whole story would take account of their relative ages as well, who knows how many records gunstab will make in the future - he seems to be making a pretty good start at thingsSAM XL wrote:Bottom line....check Gunjack's (FROM L.A..but live's in Mexico at the Mo) discog compared to Gunstab/star/bra/yugo car's discog....tell's the whole story really.
also, he's changed his name as demanded - time to let it go...!
dont know why some people are trying to hassle the guy's music as well and prove that he's inferior to the 'real' gunjack
