MOBB DEEP, THA ALKOHOLIKZ are on the same levels in my opinion
legends of the real hip hop
Ha, I was watching Kickboxing on Eurosport one evening and remember that one of the fighters had 'Bang your Head' as his ring entry music
unfortunately when it came to the actual bout he got his arse kicked
had to still give him due props on his ring entrance

the six feet deep flow is a classic off beat on beat style that was popular back in the day. my fav onbeat off beat rapper was a west coast goodlife MC called Volume10 famous for pistol grip pump...
I love about half of the first grave diggas 6ft deep and the second half isnt bad. Prince Pauls beats are nice but kind of pop for my tastes. (aside for a couple obvious exceptions). the low end has been rolled off. i like the MCs funny smart conceptual lyrics. not many MCs stay within a concept.
the second album is a mess. the whole concept is abandoned. along with paul. nice post octo flows tho.

Onyx were on point way back
"I'm a b-boy
Standin in my b-boy stance
Hurry up and give me the microphone before I bust in my pants
The mad author of anguish
My language, Polluted
Onyx is heavyweight (And still undisputed!!)
He took the words right out my mouth and walked a mile in my shoes
I've paid so many dues, I feel used and abused
And I'm.... so confused
umm, excuse me, for example
I'm the inspiration, for a WHOLE generation
And unless you got 10 SSsssticky Fingers
Its straight immitation
A figment, of your imagination
But but but but wait it gets worse!!
I'm not watered down so I'm dyin of thirst
Comin thru wit a scam, a fullproof plan
B-boys make some noise, and just, JUST SLAM!"
oh my lawd
Fu-Schickens were/are still the best to ever touch the mic (sort of)
