So now it means this:
You get caught with a ten bag of weed:
You get an offcial Caution.
You get caught a second time:
You pay a fine
You get caught a 3rd time:
You go to court and god knows what can happen when u get there and meet a judge who grew up in the dark ages.
The most confusing aspect of this is that this type of approach is differrent to the penalties for all other Class B drugs.
They are just sending out mixed messages to everyone. Yet again this is just going to turn otherwise law obiding citizens into criminals.
They are so out of touch with society its unbelievable.

also the dealers would scrounge off the council more if it was available in shops.
and they know that if some tnuc was high and tooo stoned to go out he wont go and mug someone.
however if it was sold in shops they would put tax on it...it would cost more..and then desperate addicts may commit more crime to fund they're habits.
I think all of those points you've made can apply right now, if you're really really addicted you'll break in or steal from anywhere to get money to fund your habit, whether it's a shop or some blokes house.
this is true for some things, but i've not heard of many people breaking and entering to fund their weed supply....
Hah, trust me, I have heard plenty.
We need haaaaamsterdam, but for draw.

I got caught with it 3 times before they degraded it to C so I'm a bit pissed.
I can kinda see why, most peng is allot stronger than it used to be and my mind is fooked.

no shit. people have been saying this for ages.
i'd much rather smoke strong organic homegrown and be able to spell my name; than smoke £25 on the henry superskunk and be mashed up after a few reefers.
the government aren't making it any easier for themselves. it wouldn't suprise me if reclassifying ganja made the price go up again, thus upping profit margins, thus bringing more dodgy people to the table.

if they wanted press they would've done some arrests with big tv fuzz and it would've been cool with the old farts.
but if they strengthen the LAW, it's because they intend to use it!
you think it's a random act? or rather tied to some other things happening
i hope riot would help, but since you allowed cctv with facial recognition software, and all sorts of control and enforcement shit to happen because you thought it's not about you, now you'll have to pay with more of your freedom
and if people from other countries think they are safe from harm, i bet we'll see that in many other places soon
you need millions of peeps at this point to change something in the street, and you won't be allowed to gather that many
sad day for humankind!
especially that its spiritual benefits are much higher that alcohol's but seems the health is less endangered by weed than by wine, as most of the scientific data collected so far seem to point

too right. true facist. she loves the ID card idea too.
they are also introducing some new laws that state that anyone caught dealing weed 'near' places of education (including universities) will be dealt with even more harshly as they are 'destroying the minds of young people'.
cause students would never actually choose to take drugs of course lol.
You can thank the US for that. We have that already

Hmmm, rather annoying but oh well. I wonder if they'll realize that legalizing drugs could be the answer to the recession. (emphasis on could because it'd be a hell of a lot more complicated than that aha)
apparently the government spent a shed load on testing weed in order to ban it, the tests all came out with nothing yet they upped the class anyway, talk about wasting taxpayers money
