If the people who would actually be interested in having these domain names (i.e. the actual guys from deep medi, hyperdub etc) are only just contacting this guy now... he's been doing them a favour for this long.
As long as there isn't any messing around transferring ownership - good on you son!
I'd consider it a favour...

Big up Ashley, one of the hardest working people behind the scenes in Dubstep... i don't think people appreciate how lucky we are to have getdarker... every genre has a forum (or 10) but how many have a hosting service like GotDarker?

I don't understand what's funny. If what he posted is really his intention then fair play - and there's no arguing that Getdarker and Gotdarker are useful sites - but Deep Medi certainly don't seem happy about it. Hence "do not endear him to the scene". A polite email first before doing this would have helped.
