Ok. i am a swimmer and the big buzz on my team is that Michael Phelps smoked pot. ITS NOT A BIG DEAL. everyone of my team mates still look up to him. We lost just a little respect for him but not enough to think of him as a fool and unhero like. I wish people would stop saying how swimming is a good sport to get into now. OK LOOK HERE!!!!! the stupid football, basketball, and all of those other big name sports do SO MUCH MORE DRUG STUFF THAN SWIMMING!!!!!!! so all of you people stop saying that he has done bad and should not have his medals. yea I do agree that it does fuck you up a bit. but, honestly, which is more mind numbing : watching south american soap operas or smoking weed? I never wanted to kill anyone after I had a dose of the latter, that's what I can tell you. This might seem irrelevant but it's to show you that weed is not the only bad thing for you in your life. a huge part of the meals you eat is unhealthy. the air you breathe is unheatlhy and so on and yet you still don't decide to live in the coutryside and eat vegetables all year long.

long story short : there are more dangerous things than weed in our lives and most of them are not illegal.

I don't smoke, mainly cause I can't figure out how to, and I choke my ass off, and that = no fun. I will do some brownies though.

anyho.... weed CAN fuck you up.... My buddy really managed to fuck his life up. He smoked tons all day everyday, he couldn't hold a job, lived in his parents basement, and developed scitzophenia and tried to kill some guy with an ax.

He stopped smoking, and now he seems almost normal. I'm not saying weed makes you schitzo, but if you are prone to it, it can bring it out of you.

Plus, I notice many hardcore weedheads tend to turn into real dumbasses after years of smoking...that's my observation, and it doesn't happen to everyone, but if you are stupid to begin with, I'd say weed makes you even dumber.

My other buddy, when he smokes turns into the BIGGEST idiot after hitting it up. One time after smoking he was driving and I had to pull him over and drive cause he almost killed us like 3 times running over curbs and shit like that. He didn't even realize it he was so out of it.
